Commerce Classic
Welcome to the roots of Cure Cancer Classic’s impactful legacy – the revered Commerce Classic.
Since its inception in 2005, this weekend-long tournament has brought together teams of the best and brightest students from various undergraduate programs across Canada to compete in support of cancer research.
Held on January 17-18, 2025, this year’s Commerce Classic was our largest yet, bringing together over 300 students from seven universities: Queen’s, Western, Laurier, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Toronto, Guelph, and Brock. A total of 17 teams competed for an unforgettable weekend.
Thanks to a a dollar-for-dollar match through the Canadian Cancer Society, the tournament raised a record-breaking $118,000 in support for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group.
