"Their passion is bigger than cancer"
-Doug Kane, CCS Kingston, in NHL Hockey Digest
The Cure Cancer Classic is a fully student-run, nonprofit organization at the Smith School of Business in Kingston, Ontario. Since our inaugural tournament 18 years ago, we've raised over $2,100,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society in support of cancer research.

We raise funds and awareness for cancer research by hosting several sports and entertainment events for the Kingston community each year.
Sellout
On March 14, 2024, the Commerce vs. Engineering Rivalry Game delivered an unforgettable experience. Drawing a sold-out crowd at the Slush Puppie Place, the event raised an incredible $338,344 towards cancer research, helping us reach a record-breaking annual total of $624,103.

Thank you to all the fans, players, donors, and sponsors who helped us drop the gloves against cancer.
